It's that time again!

We love this time of year. For the past few years Maddy and Allyson have been playing softball. We started off the year with opening ceremonies. All of the girls made a banner for their team and then paraded out onto the field. It was a beautiful day, and the girls had a lot of fun. Allyson was a little nervous, because she was playing with a new team, and didn't know very many of the girls, but she survived.

Maddy's team is the Blue Jays. She was so excited to start this season. She has a new head coach, but has been playing with most of the girls for the past few years. She was excited to be the oldest on the team, and be one of the team captains.

Maddy plays third base, which she loves!!! She made some amazing plays this year, and we are so proud of her.

Allyson is a Mariner this year. She is on coach pitch team, and has some wonderful coaches. Here is a picture of her on opening day.

Allyson was able to pitch a little bit this year. Because a lot of the girls had been playing coach pitch for a while, they opened it up to letting the girls pitch. They were able to pitch 3 balls, and if the batter couldn't hit them, then the coaches stepped in and pitched. It was good practice for Ally, and she did a really good job!
