I feel like my family has been glued to the TV watching the Olympics. It has been so much fun cheering for the USA. Our family has really enjoyed watching the world come together for such an amazing event. I am very sad that Swimming is over, because that is my favorite sport to watch. It was so exciting watching Michael Phelps win 8 gold medals. That was truly amazing. We have also enjoyed watching Gymnastics, Beach Volleyball, Track and Field, and Diving. It has been fun to see the sites of China. I am amazed at how beautiful Beijing is. I would love to visit there someday. My kids are talking about going to the Olympics someday, and are making their goals right now. I guess anything is possible. I don't think they will be old enough to go to London in 2012, but maybe 2016.

Talk about being glued to the t.v.-I can't seem to go to sleep until after midnight because I want to watch it all-I guess I should utilize my dvr and get some sleep instead!
