Crazy Week

I am relieved to say that the end of the school year has finally arrived. (Sigh of relief) I know some of you may be thinking did she say end? Yes I did. My kids will have two weeks off until the start of a new school year on Aug. 25th. Needless to say, it was a very long week. There were school plays (see earlier posting), assemblies, parties, and graduations. I wasn't able to attend all of Maddy's assemblies and parties, and I also missed Austin's Honor Roll Assembly which I feel really bad about. Don't you ever wish that you could be in 2 places at one time? I was able to capture a few memories of the week on camera.

To go along with the last week of school activities, Austin had Cub scout day camp everyday from 4-8. So we were up late every night. I was able to be a volunteer at day camp on Monday, and enjoyed spending time with Austin and the boy's in our Ward. It's always fun to see their personalities away from primary.

Another big highlight of the week was Allyson Graduated from Kindergarten on Friday. She looked so cute in her blue paper cap. Her class sang several songs in Spanish and English, then they received their certificates. After changing their tassels, they were able to enjoy cake and punch with all of their classmates. She really loved her teachers and is really going to miss them.

Look at their cute hats!! They had their names written on them in Silver glitter>

On Thursday I was in charge of hosting bunco, so of course I was panicked to make sure my house was clean, buying prizes, and fixing food for bunco. Plus I had just purchased Breaking Dawn, so I needed to find time to read. I really don't mind being busy, and I should expect to be busy with 4 kids. But last week was very exhausting. I really felt like I was running on empty. This week is going to be very boring, and I am glad. I am babysitting my neighbor's twins for a few day's, and that's pretty easy, because my kids play with them all the time anyway. So I am looking forward to relaxing, watching the Olympics and hopefully finding time to read.

Sounds like you have been really busy! Bunco was fun and the food was delish, so thank you! Doesn't it stink that they only get a 2 week break before the new school year-I hate it! All the pictures were cute-now go and relax!
