Maddy is 12!!!

I am feeling very old today, thinking about my baby girl who just turned 12 years old. It seems like yesterday, I was laying around our small downstairs apartment, feeling her kick around in my stomach, thinking of baby names. We didn't know Madison was a girl, and we were having a hard time agreeing on a girl's name. We were watching "Mannequin", and the girl on the shows name was Madison, so we both thought that was an okay name. After many, many, many hours of labor, she was finally born via C-section (lack of progress... I should have know then that she was going to be stubborn.) After I came out of recovery, Jeremy had named her Madison.

Maddy is such a joy to have in our family. She is the best maid, cook, babysitter, etc... that I could ask for. Just kidding. Maddy is growing up into a beautiful young lady. She has the temper of a firecracker, but the heart of an angel. We celebrated her day with a birthday dinner, and presents. She got some great stuff, and was happy to have all of the attention on her!!!!

Friday after school, we had a bunch of her girlfriends over for a "Glitter Toes" Birthday party. They had fun getting their toes painted, and eating yummy food. It was a fun night!!
