Softball!!!

We'll another season of softball has come and gone, and boy was it fun!!! Ally learned so much this year. She continued learning how to pitch, and was able to pitch in quite a few games. She really got her bat's going strong this year, she had quite a few amazing hits!!! They also have drop third strike rule in the league and she is so fast that she was able to do that quite well. Her team only won 1 game this year, only because they were a very young team. Most of the girls were still 7 & 8 years old, but even though they didn't win, they learned a lot. They will be ready next season to give the rest of the teams a run for their money. I am so proud of Ally!!!

Maddy had such a good season. She had some wonderful girls on her team, and they won most of their games. Maddy played a good third baseman, and she had some wonderful hits this season. All of the girls got along really well, which made it fun for everyone. Coaching was quite a learning experience for me, and I think I did a pretty good job. Most of the time I was in charge of the score book, so that wasn't to hard.

We are so proud of Maddy and Ally! They worked hard, and had a wonderful softball season. Maddy's season is not over yet, she made the All-Star team, so we are continuing with 4 to 5 practices a week, and games every weekend!!! We are so proud of her for trying out, and are looking forward to a fun All-star season! More post to come about that :)
