Trick Or Treat

Happy Halloween!! We hope that everyone had a fun and safe night. We have had a fun week decorating for Halloween, and attending parties. We started off last Friday at the school's annual Trunk or Treat Night. The PTA did an amazing job, and the kids had a blast. There were a ton of games to play, a spooky haunted hospital, loud music for dancing, yummy food, and of course trick or treating.

Can I have some candy now?
On Wednesday, the kids and I attended our ward Trunk or Treat. We started off with a dinner of Hot dogs & Chili, followed by trunk or treating thru the church parking lot. We met up with some of our cousins and friends, and had a really fun time. I was amazed at how spooky some of the trunks were. Some people go all out, which makes it so much fun.

Yummy Dinner!!
Yesterday, Jeremy and I spent the day decorating his parents house for a night of fright. Jeremy and his family love to dress up in mask's and scare the kids (just the older one's, and sometimes the parents) We set up tombstones, skulls and cobwebs around the front yard. The outside of the house turned out really fun and spooky, and the guys had a blast scaring everyone with the fog horn, talking skull, and fog machine. Not to mention, the several dummies placed in chairs, so it was hard to tell who was real. They only had a few groups of kids that didn't dare come up.

Ghouls and Goblins

Just my Ghouls and Goblins!

While the guy's were home scaring, we walked the kids up and down the streets collecting candy. The kids had so much fun trick or treating with their cousins. And there were a lot of homes with amazing decorations. Logan was also quite a little trooper. He would walk right up to the houses all by himself (even the scary ones), and for the first little while wouldn't ride in the empty stroller that I pushed up the street's. After about 2 hours, he was worn out, and fell asleep in the stroller on the way back to Grandma's.
Dreaming of his basket full of candy!
What a spooky & fun night. It was great spending it with our family.
Happy Halloween!
