Now that I have arrived home, unpacked, washed laundry, cleaned my house, decorated for Halloween, and grocery shopped. I finally have time to write about Grandma's 80th Birthday party. We had a simple celebration at the church last Saturday that included lunch, games for the kids, and a program. To start the day off, the kids had fun playing games while the adults were visiting, and getting everything ready for lunch.
Madison with her favorite cousin
(They're the same age. To bad Maddy will be short like her mom.)
Logan was sick, and wouldn't play the games with the other kids.
After dinner, we visited with Grandma and took pictures with her and other family members. It was so good to see everyone. It had been several year's since we had seen some of our cousin's so it was fun catching up with everyone.
Grandma & Her siblings
Jeremy's Awesome Family
All of Grandma's great-grand kids
Our family was in charge of the program. And we have some very talented people in our family. The great-grand kids sang 2 primary songs to Grandma, my nephew Hayden played an awesome piano solo, then my sister in-law Suzanne and her 2 daughters played the guitar and violin. To top everything off, Jeremy & his brother's dressed up with their billy bob teeth, and sang a hill billy rendition of Happy Birthday for Grandma.
We are so proud. Jeremy had to be bribed, but it was worth it, because they really made Grandma's day!!
Thanks for letting us share your day, and thanks to our amazing parents, and Aunt's and Uncles who planned this special day for Grandma.
Happy Birthday Grandma!! We Love You!!
